Join the Measure SG Bond Oversight Committee

Approved by voters in November 2024, Measure SG provides $178 million to upgrade classrooms and labs, improve safety systems, modernize technology, and repair aging school facilities across the district. 
 
SGUSD is currently seeking applicants to fill two open committee positions representing:
 
- A Senior Citizens’ Organization
- A Bona Fide Taxpayer’s Organization
 
The Bond Oversight Committee is an independent citizens advisory committee that reviews how bond funds are spent and helps provide transparency and accountability to the community. All meetings are open to the public.
Community members interested in serving are encouraged to complete the application available on the Bond Oversight Committee page on our site.
 
The committee has four scheduled meetings in 2026, with having already taken place. The remaining meetings for 2026 are on May 21, September 17, and November 12, all of which fall on Thursdays. The meeting take place at 7pm in the board room of the District Education Center on Junipero Serra Drive, and typically run for an hour or less.
