SGUSD is tracking the Air Quality Index (AQI) to ensure compliance with County of Los Angeles Public Health guidelines. Today, May 20th, recess will be held inside as a result of the air quality as a result of the multiple wildfires currently burning. Gabrielino High School and Jefferson Middle School have been named recipients of the 2026 California Exemplary Arts Education Award by the CA Department of Education.
