WEB Orientation for Sixth Graders

What
WEB Orientation for Sixth Graders
When
8/11/2017, 9:00 AM 1:00 PM

Jefferson Middle School is a participant in the nationwide Where Everyone Belongs (WEB) Program. The sole purpose of this program is to help sixth graders feel welcomed and be more comfortable in their first year of middle school. During WEB Orientation, your sixth grader will be assigned two eighth grade WEB Leaders who will serve as peer mentors for the rest of the year.

WEB Leaders are responsible students who were hand selected from a large pool of applicants.

Please visit the WEB Google Classroom for details throughout the summer. The access code is pq62je.

On the day of orientation:
-Please advise students NOT to bring backpacks or other like items as the day is quite active and it may be difficult to keep track of personal items.
-Please make sure that students wear comfortable clothing (shorts or pants and tennis shoes).
-Water, juice, and a light snack will be provided for your student at the end of the day.
-This is a student-only function. We encourage you to let your child participate on his/her own. Mr. Arnold will meet with any parents on the morning of WEB Orientation to discuss any questions about the WEB program.

We look forward to seeing your student on the WEB Orientation Day!
